I have never posted under this topic before but would love some experienced advice. My DD is 2 1/2 MO and I want to bring her into our bed for night nursing/sleeping. There are several challenges we face.
1) Right now DH keeps our dogs in our room for fear they will get into the trash or chew up stuff. Any suggestions on how to keep doggies safe but out of our room?(I can't trust them to stay off the bed and one likes to lay on us-may lay on baby)
2) Do I have to get rid of my blanket and pillow or is there a safe way to use them with DD in the bed.
3) What do I need to look for in a side rail? I have seen some pictures but they look to far spaced apart to be safe.
4) Are there any other safety concerns I should be aware of.
The pedi at the hospital was adamant that sharing a bed is not safe and can never be done but I am exhausted getting up 2-3 times a night.
