Can some one educate me on raw goat's milk? I found a local place that has grass fed chickens and goats, and am going to start getting my eggs from there, but I am curious about the goat's milk. I know it's probably completely different from the store bought cow's milk that we use now, but how different is it? From what I've read so far, it's a lot better for you, obviously. Is there anything I should specifically ask the owner? I'm just a tad cautious being pregnant and all.
It's only $5/gallon, so it's not a huge commitment, and the owner said that they are milked twice a day so the milk would be really fresh.
