DD2 is so different than DD1! Instead of grazing (and causing my milk supply to be crazy high) and having frequent meals, she tends to pork out at regular intervals. So regular that if I pump between these time periods, I am really unable to pump much--so different than with DD1. She also inhales her bottles.
Anyways, we have met the perfect storm and I really would appreciate any insight you gals can offer. DD2 has hit a major growth spurt and increased her intake from 6 oz bottles to 8-10 oz. She also has started solids last week (she is almost 7 months) and it seems she enjoys them tremendously. DD1 never had any interest until she was 8 months, hated cereal (still hates smooshy cereal like grits, oatmeal, porridge), and nibbled solids. It is very different to have a baby that inhales everything and reaches for everything I am eating around her. Unfortunately, my milk supply has dropped this week as my period is coming. SO she had doubled her intake the same week my supply had dipped 50%
She will eat cereal but the idea of making it with water seems wrong...it is already "air" with vitamins. I can mix it with yogurt but I am just at a loss of what to help her through this week.
So far she enjoys fresh smooshed peas, sweet potatoes, and cereal. She balks at yogurt and fruits.
