intuition about gender? - Page 2

I was sure both times, and I was right both times. With this one, it's too early to tell (9 weeks.) Check back with me in another month or two.

In the two pregnancies where I was neutral I was able to guess the gender. I always thought I would have a girl first, but had no preference, and as soon as I was pregnant I just knew the baby was a boy (he was). In my second pregnancy we really wanted another boy and I absolutely could not make a guess as to the gender, I think due to having a preference and that obscuring my intuition (second boy). In my current pregnancy I was back to being neutral and could once again tell immediately that we were going to have another boy (confirmed on ultrasound).

So, for me, being completely neutral allowed me to listen to my intuition.

I was right about my daughter. My pregnancy is polar opposite this time so I suspect a boy but I'd be thrilled with a girl, too.

That's EXACTLY how I knew my second was a boy! Things were just...different.

My intuition about this pregnancy switched around the end of the first trimester. All during the first trimester I was hoping boy. Then around 12 weeks or so I started having dreams that this was a girl, and that she was naming herself (or arguing with me when I suggested other names ). The dreams were incredibly vivid, and after a few of them I started feeling deeply that this was a girl. That hadn't happened in previous pregnancies.

Sure enough...girl.
Yes -- that is what I was going to say. With my 1st I was wrong the whole time ... I couldn't imagine that I would have anything BUT a girl ...wrong, he is a boy. With my 2nd I thought girl during the 1st trimester and then at the start of the 12nd I changed over to boy and was right and had strong intuition then that I would have a boy and then a girl. I was right ... but when pg with #3 I thought boy during the first trimester and then had 3 dreams before the u/s that it was a girl. This time the whole first trimester I thought boy again ... still uncertain. DH, and all the kids are SURE it is a girl (like 100% sure). So we'll see in about 6 weeks.

We have a 57% correct predicition of baby's sex in our Oct DDC at the moment. Most predictions were posted in the first trimester.

Septembers is slightly skewed more towards being wrong than being right.
