I just drank an ice capp from Tim Hortons. I havent had one in soooo long, I just really wanted one. I reasoned in my head that it wasnt that much caffiene and blah blah blah , but now that I have drank it I am freaking out that I drank it. I know sounds completly and utterly irrational....so I jsut need someone to say, sarah take a breath , it was one ice capp...lol

I did have a Starbucks frappuccino the other day, and I was lusting after a gigantic iced coffee, the equivalent of like forty ice capps in terms of caffeine, from Dunkin' DOnuts earlier today, and I only didn't get one because I was running late to an appointment.

Oh man - my only concern for you is whether it gave you the jitters. I weaned myself from coffee (mainly for my blood pressure) before I got pregnant, and now whenever I have a cup (even of half-caff!) I talk REALLY fast and am generally just...strange.

One coffee drink of any variety is soooo not a big deal - especially in the second trimester!!

I drink a coffee nearly everyday- a very milky one.

The allowance is rather high for being pregnant, 300mg or something which I NEVER have had that much in one go in my life- so having half or less of that is no problem.

BUT. freaking out is normal, we are pregnant and primal, if we suspect we have had something chemically altering, our minds can spin, rational thinking can bring us back to centre.

I did decaf in the first tri (this pregnancy). Since then, I drink regular coffee and fraps all the time! Don't worry about it. With my other two I drank coffee throughout the whole pregnancy.

Currently sipping on my 1 to 2 times a week medium iced coffee from DD... so take a breath, lovely. Everything will be okay! (and I hope you enjoyed the hell out of that Ice Capp! I miss Timmy Ho's like whoa!).

I usually have a cup of coffee or a latte everyday. You are fine! I am just glad my body can tolerate coffee this time around. With my last 2 pregnancies coffee made me sick.
