How do you give hylands to a 4 months old baby?

Hi, I think I might need the Hylands teething tablets tonight. How do you give them to 4 months old exclusively breastfed baby? I have been watching her today and she seems not feeling well, rubbing her gums, chewing her little teether and I want to be prepared in case I won't be able to soothe her later. Thanks so much!!!

They're really soft and dissolve instantly. Just pop them right in her mouth. She'll probably smack her tongue on them a bit, and you'll see them dissolve.

i have given dd the colic tabs before, and she tongue-thrusts them out before they dissolve, so i just stick them in my mouth for a split second and the put the tablet mush in her mouth

I also just pop them in my DD's mouth - sort of to the side or inside her lip so she doesn't thrust it out right away. I give her 2 - 1 at a time.

i started giving them to ds at 6 months. u can dissolve them in a little water if she drinks out of a cup or from a straw. but i just popped them in ds's mouth and he mimicked my mouth as i showed him how to keep it in. occasionally he will expel one and i just put it back in his mouth even if it has dissolved already.

I would always put them under dd's tongue and then use my finger to kind of rub them around until they completely turned to mush.

that

I started giving them to DS around 5 months. under the tongue and I hold it for a second. He likes having my finger in his mouth so he doesn't mind

just pop them in and try to distract your LO so they forget about it. they discolve really fast. tip for the future- we bought the teething gel for DD when she was younger and that went over really well.

Hyland's makes drops, too -- same ingredients as the tablets, just in liquid form. They come in little single-dose sterile liquid vials. DD likes them - they don't have any flavor in them, so it's just like a little squirt of water in her mouth. It's hard for me to tell if they help, but they certainly can't hurt.

I put them on her tongue, and leave my finger on top, and she sucks on my finger and the tablets dissolve.

Thanks Mamas! We didn't end up needing them last night but I am sure the night will come
