As i'm sure i'm not the only poas addict on this forum i thought it would be a good idea to start up support thread to offer encouragement to those of us trying to desperately resist the urge to pee on every hpt they have in the house even though they are only 4dpo, or offer 's to those (like me ) who did and

Thanks for starting this. I havea always been a POAS addict. I have 9 tests left and they need to last me. One great thing i am doing this time is OPK's so it is helping my not test for baby this way I get to test everyday to find O. But this is my first cycle to start and I am doing two or three a day to find my most value time of the day to test. I do not think I have O'ed yet this month but 4 days past my first spurt of EWCM I test!! Of course.

So what cycle are you on? Are you having any symptoms yet?

Yeah, I'd forgotten how nutty this makes me. I'm not officially TTC (and DH has MFI) but we had sex on a crazy EWCM day and it's been so long since I charted I was counting that as the ovulation day when, really, it's a couple days after that, and I POASed yesterday thinking I was 11dpo and got a BFN when, errr, it was actually more like 9pdo at best guess.

There is another test in the closet. I'm waiting for Friday FMU which would be 12dpo. I think.

I just FEEL so weirdly off. Low grade queasiness on and off, last week I was so exhausted it was like I was about to get a nasty virus (nope) and now I have weird twitching in my abdomen that won't stop. If I'm not pregnant I want this weird mix of "not quite ill but not perfectly well either" to GO AWAY. And I don't usually do that "I'm SURE these symptoms mean I'm pregnant" thing but I have been suspicious I took since shortly after the deed. Basic weirdness.

Wow. It felt good to type all that out.

Although i actually started using opk's in august last year i've only actually had 2 official ttc cycles including this one as i'm using a donor to become pregnant.

i'm feeling a little sickie (probably due to the weather getting warmer), tired (though is probably to be expected with 4 lo's lol) very thirsty (but that could be due to breast feeding and the warmer weather) and i've noticed i'm going off some food i normally like (ordered dominos pizza for tea and didn't enjoy it all even though the kiddies said it tasted the same as it usually does)
i'm currently on cd 37 but as my cycles are pretty messed up at the moment i don't actually know if my period is late, last cycle was 30 days, the 2 before that were 35 and the 3 cycles before them were 42, so i'm pretty clueless really.
i had positive ovulation tests cd 27, 28 and 29 dtd cd 28.
I only have 1 clear blue digital left i have and no internet cheapies as have already used them , so i really need to try and wait a bit longer before testing again.

wow zadee those sound like promising symptoms, i wish you luck with resisting the urge to use your last test, i don't think i'll manage lol, i'll probably end up poas in the morning

looks like i'm back to CD 1, started spotting this morning strange thing is i really wasn't expecting it, at least not yet as i normally get migraines for a few days before the OBB comes to visit *sigh* so back to waiting to o for me, am going to order some OPK's online so i have plenty in.

I got my tests in today! I've never ordered them before...they are MUCH smaller than I thought they were! The pics make them look so much bigger!

After DH and I BD this afternoon, for a split second, I wanted to pee on one just to see. But I was a good girl and didnt. I might this weekend, just to get the hang of it..test run..LOL!

yes i know it's rubbish AF, yes i'm actually glad i skipped that bit cos my dd. caitlin's voice only seems to come in 2 volumes loud and extra loud

I ordered some more yesterday and yes they are quite small i remember thinking how the hell am i supposed to pee on that LOL first time i got some.

Enjoy your test run LOL just don't get too carried away and use them all.

wow, but then if you order online they are really cheap so i'd probably use loads more if had them LOL

Yes i deffenately belong here i convinced myself because my bleeding hasn't been "heavy" and it's mainly brown that i indeed must be pregnant ( not sure where i pulled this logic from) anyway i decided to use a hpt yesterday and surprise, surprise i actually convinced myself it was a for a while but the 2nd line was very, very faint and grey
