Thyroid Help please

I know there are a ton of threads already on this...and I have been reading and researching them all. But, I admit, it is a LOT to go through and I am confusing myself a bit.

Trying to make a long story short, after years and years of feeling like crap, gaining weight, etc my mom finally convinced me to look into hypothyroidism. I have so many of the symptoms, I mean it almost fits like a textbook. I also have many of the symptoms of adrenal fatigue, which I know is related.

So, I went to my doctor...saw the nurse practitioner (this is a homeopathic md who has a naturopath and 2 NPs working with him). She ordered a ton of bloodwork and a 24 hour saliva test for adrenal function. I have not got the results back from the saliva test, but I did for the bloodwork. Everything was fine (except for really low vit D which is weird I think, I am outside pretty much). I know the TSH numbers dont give the whole story, and that people can still be hypothyroid with "normal" TSH numbers...but my number was 1. That is pretty low isnt it? Would it be possible to have many of the symptoms, some of them rather severe, with that low of a number?

I guess just so many of the stories I am reading are of TSH like around 3 or so that were not properly diagnosed.

Really, I am just tired of feeling so tired, so irritable, and just blah. If its not thyroid ok, but its still something and I want, no need, to figure it out. It has been going on for years and years and I always blamed it on different circumstances, but am just recently realizing it is more than that.

IMO, TSH of 1 is good. My MD targets values 1 - 2. Anything > 2 is starting to get too high which indicates HYPOthyroid. We probably should also see what your numbers are for free T3, free T4 and antithyroid antibodies - there are two types.

I'd also be interested in your adrenal tests. Burnt out / overtired adrenals also have symptoms of feeling exhausted.

TSH is actually 1.53

free T4 is 1.0

free T3 is 130

antibodies are <10

should have also asked for the ranges for the free #'s. Do you have those too?

Have you had your iron teste? B12? Folate? If you are deficient in any of these vitamins (mineral), you can have many of the symptoms of hypoT.
