So much food in her diaper!

I'm really concerned for DD. Today I was changing a poop diaper and there was a lot of undigested food in there. Quinoa,Black beans, what I think may be grapes and lots orange pieces!!! Her BM was also very loose I'm doing something wrong with her! The beans and quinoa were soaked overnight as well. She also had bad diarrhea last night with a bit of a red rash from her butt up. I did make grain free banana pancakes that she ate a ton of so I'm wondering if it could be the eggs??

I have tried enzymes with her but they caused her loose stools which she still has nearly 4 weeks later. Should I start the enzymes with her again but very slowly?? Any ideas would truly be appreciated.

We are currently working on going gluten free Our life style is making it so difficult we aren't at "home" at the moment but I'm slowly but surely finding the healthy foods/products I need.

You might try supplementing zinc - low zinc can lead to low stomach acid and poor digestion. Digestive enzymes can cause die off, so that may have been the issue. You could try starting slowly, or try a pancreatin enzyme - those are actually working a lot better for my son.

Are you going GF because you suspect celiac? If so, don't do digestive enzymes while you are still eating wheat, apparently it can make things worse (break the gluten down into smaller peptides that are even more irritating to celiacs).

Die off of yeast??? Is pancreatin enzyme the actual brand name?

I don't suspect celiac but I know it isn't tolerated well by many plus DD has subtle things going on and her digestion struggles so I figured going GF was a good idea, at least a starting point
