Earth Science Resources Please!

For Science next year, we're doing prehistory: Big Bang -> Man. We're going to spend a few weeks on Earth Science (since it ties in so well with the creation of the earth). Could you share some terrific Earth Science resources with me? Websites, books I might find in the library, hands-on/ experiment ideas, etc. are all welcome. Also, if you have any experience with putting together an Earth Science curriculum and have tips related to it, I'd love to hear them. Thank you so much!

Do you want recommendations that include evolution ?

Here are some to start with that are just about the planet:

I'll probably come back to ask for evolution and everything else when I start organizing that part of the year. I'm definitely interested, just not there in my planning yet!

Thank you for those recommendations! I'm checking them out!
