So i started eating more TF style but what I consider low carb may actually still be high carbs to most so if you are increasing fat how low should your carbs be??

Everybody is different...but I have read that you aren't getting the benefits of low-carb until well under 100 grams a day. Some people can eat 80 grams and others have to stay under 50. Overall calories matter when you are trying to LOSE weight. I can eat a lot of calories and maintain my weight if my carbs are low enough. I would experiment with eating high fat, high protein and under 50 grams of carbs a day. Never stuff yourself and give it a good 10 days to feel "right" on low carbs, it can take a while for your body to adjust away from using carbs for energy and you can feel crappy for a bit while you adjust. (I cut my carbs pretty gradually, I am a baby steps kinda girl) I have zero digestive issues if I stay under 70 grams or so of carbs, regardless of what I eat Good luck!
