New stainless steel sink

and how do I clean it. I used to have a porcelain but now I am clueless as to how to clean it and not damage it. Can I use steel wool and/or ajax or baking soda when I get stains. Should I stick with a plastic type scrubber for stains?
Also someone scratched it a bit when dropping a knife in it. Is there a way to get rid of the scratch or make it less noticeable? TIA

I use baking soda and my dishcloth to scrub out stains, works great. Make sure to wash it afterwards (not just rinse) or the baking soda residue will dry white-ish, at least it does that on my sink.

Not sure about the scratch, sorry. Eventually it will just blend with the "patina" I suppose.
