resources for helping kids learn about empathy?

some kids need more help than other in the area of empathy, compassion and kindness.

anyone one have any resources? there is a lot of classroom stuff to sift through out there. wonder if there is anything more tuned to HS?

I read an awesome book called Raising a Thinking Preteen. There is also a program that goes with it for schools called I Can Problem Solve. I liked the book a lot so I am saving up for the school program to use with dd. Here is a website for it:
