Need Therapist in NW NJ

after to talking to a few people on MDC i have decided that i want to seek therapy for possible PPD/PTSD (as a result of a traumatic emergency cesaerian)... any recommendations for therapists in northern NJ (with experience in PPD/PTSD) would be REALLY helpful. i really want to start working on this before my next birth. (baby #3 is due in July)

Hi there,
She is a treck for you, but Joyce Venis in Princeton is a phenomenal woman trained in POstpartum depression therapy. She has been written up in some magazines and is so knowledgeable and sympathetic(she had PPD). If you contact depression after delivery (do a google search for their website), they will give you a list of counselors for the whole state of NJ. Another good option (again far)is Helen Jones out of Flemington, NJ. She is a nurse practicioner so she can prescribe the meds and listen to you instead of having to go to two different people. I found that the psychiatrists just pushed the pills (which I needed and wanted), but didn't really "listen." Anyhow, hope this helps and feel free to PM me.
