Well, in my experience with charting for 30+ cycles, my cervix is HSO around ovulation and quickly turns LFC right after, oftentimes the same day as ovulation which is the day before my temps rise/start to rise. On the gender-swaying board I'm on, many women use this indication of ovulation to try to schedule intercourse 12 hours after ovulation. IME, my cervical position has been a good indicator of when/whether I've ovulated.

Really? I've never heard that before, but I know nothing about fallback rises, since that's not at all in line with my normal post-O pattern.

Thank you for clarifying. I didn't originally catch the part I bolded. That makes more sense.

Thanks, that's extremely encouraging

Well, my temp today was very clearly indicative of ovulation, so I'll start taking the progesterone tonight. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences and opinions. It has been a huge help! If I can remember, I will try to update this thread in 8-10 days when I take a HPT.
