Has anyone had AF go away again after the 1st cycle PP?

Hi! I was wondering if this has happened to anyone before. I am 13mo's PP, still BFing, and I had AF return on April 18, when I was 12mo's PP.
Wellll..... Now it's the 20th and I haven't had AF return again, and no PMS symptoms yet either. I'm normally very regular- AF usually comes on the same day each month, with PMS symptoms 1-2 days before that.
My DD still nurses fairly regularly, like probably about every 4 hours, even at night. We've gone longer stretches without nursing, usually while out and about, and I think that's what triggered the first AF. Is it possible that if she's been nursing again really regularly for the past month that AF will go away until she's stopped nursing as frequently? Or once it starts does it usually keep coming every month regardless of nursing habits?
I did take a preg. test yesterday that came back negative, so I don't think I'm pregnant, but I just wanted to get some of you other wise mamas' input so I might know what to expect.

With ds#1 from 12mo PP to about 18mo PP my AF was only every other month - no BF. With ds#2 it returned full force at 18 mo (stopped BF @ 1yr).

My AF is extremely irregular after each baby. Once it shows up again, I might see it 45 days later, 52 days after that, then a nice one 30 days later so that I'll think I'm becoming regular again, only to have my next one come 59 days later. Then I'll be pregnant. I haven't had a regular AF in a very long time in fact. I get a few super crazy ones between babies. And in the meantime, I just freak out & take a lot of pregnancy tests!
