found a great, inexpensive, tactile/fine motor tool!!

I just found these in our local craft store, and my DS, who has SPD and some big fine motor issues, loves them!!

Perler Biggie beads - kids make designs on little peg boards, and then mom (or another adult!) uses an iron to fuse the beads together.

This same company makes smaller beads that DS had played with at the neighbors house and was super frustrated with. (they're just to small for his fingers to manipulate) He loves the bigger size, it makes him feel like a "big kid", and he will work with them for at least an hour at a time. I haven't found anything else that holds his attention like this!

I was super excited to find these. Hopefully someone here will find them fun too!!

I think I've seen something similar at the store. I'll have to check it out.
