I just read this over the weekend and really liked it. I was a little disappointed with the way "The DaVinci Code" ended, but this one was really good. However, I do have one question that I can't figure out:

Why did the head of CERN point at the Swiss Guard Captain and say Illuminatum (or whatever it was) and get him shot too?

No, the Curate guy said that.... or wait.... was the CERN guy pointing at the curate guy (been a while, you know the guy I mean?) and the guards were confused and assumed he was refering to the Head of the Guard?

I'm pretty sure the CERN guy said it, but maybe you're right that he was pointing at the priest -- that would explain a lot. Next time I go to the bookstore I'll have to pick up a copy and read that passage over again.

I borrowed it and have already returned it, but if I get a chance I will look as well. I'm pretty sure that one way or another that anomoly is explained by the video taken with the hidden camera.
