OMG - Just put your freaking clothes on!!!!

My 5.5yo is making me nuts when we try to leave the house. If it's first thing in the morning, he's pretty cool about getting dressed and leaving. But if I have to run to the store, and he's been naked or in pjs or in underwear, it's such an ordeal to get clothes on him that I often just skip it. The biggest problem is needing groceries. I just need some mozzarella cheese for dinner tonight. The store is 3 minutes away. We will be there and back in under 10 minutes. Please, please, please, just get dressed!!!!!!!

lol, i hear ya!! i've had to make a rule of getting dressed before breakfast. if it doesn't happen right away, the struggle gets exponentially worse.

Set the timer and have a consequence if he is not ready when it goes off. For my DS, that would be no Wii time.

Sounds like my DS2. Took me forever to get him to get dressed this morning. What got him dressed? "Jimmy, I am on the phone with the school nurse and you sister threw up on the bus and we have to go get her at school".
