I'm crazy uncomfortable already and I suspect it's only going to get worse. I was looking at maternity pillows on Amazon, and they're ZOMGosh expensive. Anyone have any tips for finding a maternity pillow for less or what to use as a frugal alternatives?

I use two body pillows (like http://www.kuna-foto.de/fotofreunde/.../Bilder/04.jpg only not that exact one). they aren't U-shaped like the pregnancy pillow, but you can still mold them to your body just as well... and they only cost like 1/4 of a maternity pillow even buying two of them!

I just have my regular pillow under my head and a thinner one between my legs, plus a couple of larger, thick yet very soft and pliable pillows that I 1)roll my belly onto and 2)wedge behind my back.

I also use my husband, He calls himself my "Body Billow"!
('cause his name is Billy..lol)

I'd use hubby, too, but he moved downstairs when my pregnancy induced snoring became unbearable for him! that's okay though, more room for pillows!- annettemarie

In addition to two regular pillows for my head, I use two cushions (the type you tie onto a wooden chair) with regular pillowcases on, one goes between my knees and the other under my belly. Regular pillows were too thick for me and made things hurt more. These are also easy to move around in the bed when I want to change sides.

I still have my Snoogle that I bought 6 years ago! It's SUPER flat now and I use it doubled over on itself, between my legs, as my pelvis has never improved. It helps a lot, though. I do want to get something with some more loft! I really did like it before it got flat, and, like I said, I still use it even so, just not quite as intended.

I just use a thick decorative pillow between my knees and I'm sleeping much more comfortably than I did with my body pillow with my first pregnancy (which I've lost, anyway). I get way too hot at night to have anything crowding my body, but I have to have the pillow between my knees to keep my back in alignment.
