we have a good routine. i give warning that its almost bedtime, that gives them time to wrap up what they are doing. then its shower time if needed. brush teeth then story. then bed. we have a rock light in the room but no tv or radio. i find having a set routine helps a lot.

yes. it's the one time of day i have patience issues. it's the one time of our daily routine i wish he would *just do* instead of having to be cajoled.

oh we have a routine, that's not the problem, lol, its that part of the routine seems to be trying to NOT go to bed. even with a 'head's up, we'll be heading upstairs in X mins/when we are finished with Y/when the clock says x:xx'. screaming, running, laughing hysterically and running around naked, jumping on the bed, i don't want these pajamas, more water, i don't like that book, BUT I DO!! (says twin), i want to play with my pirates and knights, do this puzzle, etc etc etc. coupled with a toddler that only nurses to sleep, and lately needs to be walked around in the carrier for EVER before finally dozing off, and yea.....good times. clearly we need to find a better way, i'm just not sure what, or even if it matters. i mean, its likely that no matter what, its going to be a struggle.
