I HATE disposable pads with a passion. For years, when I bled there would be this unpleasant smell, and I would itch and the blood would cake up in my pubic hair. I had NO idea it was the synthetic material/chemicals. But then when I switched to cloth it was such a vast difference... yeah, disposables are evil. Truly.

let me echo again that the diva cup /keeper is really great!!
i love it..it is so comfortable, and pretty easy once you get the hang of it!
i highly reccomend it, and i often use gladrags as well, to rest from the cup.

I love my cloth pads too I never really had issues with dispoables, I just decided to try cloth and it really is better. For one, the smell is FAR less. I always thought that's what AF smelled like, but it was AF combined with the nasty chemicals (just like urine on a cloth diaper smells, but urine on a sposie REEKS). I've also had far fewer nightime leaks than with sposie pads. I *have* had nighttime leaks, but less and less of a leak when it happens, so I'm happy.

I am very lazy I just take the pad off, don't even bother to rinse it, and toss it in the diaper pail. I get some stains, but that's what they are for, right? :LOL

I use Sea Pearls Sea Sponge Tampons. I buy them at a local shop but there is a website llisted on the pamphlet that came with them.

I don't have a very heavy flow but I have doubled up at night .
I also made some little pantiliners out of flannel but I don't use them often.

edited to add that I think the Moon Maiden Gift Bag on this website is pretty cool. I might have to order one for my eleven-year-old to counteract some of the proctor and gamble propaganda they are fed during "the talk" these days. She actually came home with coupons for "her mother"
