I give birth to good sleepers... My first was a great sleeper and this one is flowing right behind...
At birth she was doing a 5 hour night streatch
by 1 month we went 6.5 hours
by 2 months we hit 8 hours
and now at 10 weeks we go from 9pm-7am
she also give me one long 2 hour nap from 1oam -12pmish
a mini snooze around 2pm (she falls asleep picking up my oldest from school)
and a wee 45/1hr quick cat nap around 6pm
so around 14-16 hours a day of sleep...
Shes attached to me every waking second though
and yesterday at 10 weeks PP AF returned
I told her not to come by for at least 6 months but did she listen?
nope shes jsut thinks cause I happen to have a LO that sleeps well she can just invite herself over...
How rude

that bites but the way u told the story is funny... maybe u r destined to produce more children... my dd2 sleeps stretches at night and has since birth and she is 18 mo almost and no af... i am old though. 39. she is last baby. so must be u r young and destined to have more. i think being sexually active matters too. there is somthin in semen that triggers chemical hormonal changes i think. i am celibate for now and have been since her birth. sss nak while lying down

Sadly that hasn't been the case.. With my first AF came back at 5 weeks PP but it took 4 years to successgully concieve again and I then had 3 misscarriages over a 4 year period.. I'm 33 now but my husband is 46. While I'm still open to more and I know he is also this may very well be our last...
and umm sex yea thats been non existant for quite a while... (nothing bad about the marriage jsut how life is currently)..

funny you mention the sexually active part . . .I got AF back at 4 months PP and and next one a week ago, almost 6 months PP. and we have been more active the last month or so . . .

DS is a good sleeper too! means I usually wake up at least a little engorged, boobs haven't figured out to turn off/down at night yet. but I love the sleep!

DD has never been a great sleeper (woke up every 1.5 to 2 hrs for first two months) and I got AF at 7 weeks PP. This is with co-sleeping since birth and EBF.
