Okay, so I never usually go to home party type things...makes me feel like a huge cheeseball, and any kind of sales talk drives me up the wall. My sister-in-law invited me so I went.

It was all about the Maleluca products which seem great and nice, non-toxic and all, but is it worth it? I've been trying to make my own cleaning products at home, don't use shampoo, but the vitamins looked good, and the laundry detergent seems nice (although I don't know if its cloth diaper friendly). Please let me know how you feel. I'm on the beginning side of my natural home journey! Its been lovely so far!!!!

I am not a fan of the company. I don't like or trust the fact that they don't label their ingredients for customers to see. You just have to trust that they are non toxic, I guess...

Also, I have been told that they use Tea Tree Oil in EVERYthing...and I've been told that their ingredients are not as great and natural as I would choose for my family (although I forget what the details are now...it was a long time ago)

Also, I have major issues with how their company recruits in this very secretive manner.

All in all, I would not buy anything from them.

Just my 2 cents

Oh and I have to add, they have a cleaner for EVERYTHING and they want you to buy cleaners on a monthly cycle. To me that totally goes against the natural approach. You shouldn't need a cleaner for everything you can imagine. One good all purpose citrus or pine cleaner, or heck...just baking soda and vinegear! That is really all you need for almost every surface in your home. If someone is trying to sell you that much product, you can bet their concern for the environment is not top priority.

stepping off the box now!

OMG, it feels SOOOOOOOOOOOO good LALA to see another person that feels the same way about Mela. I unfortunatly signed on and delt with that company for over a year, with a lot of frustration, lots of lost money between intrest on my cc they they freely charge, because stupid me signed the dotted line saying they could every month whether I ordered or not, they will charge your card and send you a pkg of whatever products...you do have a choice on sending it back, and getting a refund but omg what a BIG hassle...and the one time i did send back it was a "return to sender" and they denied ever recieving it (68$+interest as I FOUGHT this company) and asked for my return to sender recipt...which I didn't have because I didn't know there was such a puppy...so they basically called me a liar and refused to refund my money...I finally found out how to get out of this comany and have saved TONS of money, time, frustration ect. HOW was THAT for a spew. I'm not impressed with their business practices, nor am i'm so impressed with their products that I would want SO MUCH of them. I STILL after 2 years have "supplies" when I use mostly vinegar/water/baking soda/ and other homemade I know what is in my simple ingredient cleaners that even my CHILDREN can use and I'm not concerned for them. WE did like some of their products, but imo it's not worth the other stuff kwim...sorry for trashing and spewing, but I'm tired of doing it oh so privet by pm when someone asked about this company.

OH and their claim that their laundry will get everything out...it won't get out speghetti stains...but whallah, the sunshine sure does...which is more natural...a bunch of cleaners, scrubb scrubb sit wash or wash and sun anyway...i appoligize for being so gruppy but sometimes I just feel like when I see/hear Mela

reeseccup,

Thanks for your gut honesty. I wouldn't want it any other way. I wouldn't have know about that lovely side of the company if you didn't say so. Like I said, I had really no clue about all the Mela stuff. Just went as a tag-a-long to the party. Thanks again!
