Has anyone seen this video or have your kids seen it at school? Ds's 4th grade class is going to be watching it in a couple of weeks & I'm trying to get some more info.

Well, I guess I am just trying to get a feel for it. It's my understanding that the theme is on your changing body, puberty & hygiene. I'm wondering if there is anything else I should be prepared for? It's my son's 4th grade class that will be watching. We've had lots of puberty talks and some reproduction education, but never anything about erections or other penis-related topics. I'm not sure if that is covered? How did your class respond?

It covers how the pitutary gland signals the body to release hormones that will induce puberty; vocal cords and penis size enlarging, hair, body odor, need to use deodrant. Every boy changes at different rates/times etc. It shows a cartoon boy quickly making the changes from boy to "man". (the kids I showed it to usually laugh at this point in the video).
The video talks about how puberty is the signal that your body is ABLE to reproduce but that at your age you are not ready for the responsibility for a child. It mentions sperm and egg but no details about how the two meet.
In the video a boy talks to his Uncle about how other boys are talking about penis size and he worries about his being big enough. It discusses erections and mentions that they are normal and that they often happens at in-opportune times. It mentions wet dreams too.
If he watches the co-ed version of the video he'll learn about the menstrual cycle too.
