Anyone's baby not clap until over a year?

DS was just about a year when he started clapping...and even then it was only when HE wanted to (you couldn't get him to do it) He's 13mo now and he only does it when he wants YOU to clap too. (He's started doing it when he does something "clap worthy" like give kisses or play hide and seek...it's fun)

DS1 didnt clap, point, or wave bye-bye until he was over two years old! lol

Hes got some sensory issues - but no other 'special needs' apart from that.

He is just a boy, lazy and obviously felt no need to do any of those things. lol

my dd is ONE! today, and she is not yet clapping...she does wave and point though.

will your child cross midline in other ways? Like banging toys together? I was actually trying to figure out at what age this milestone occurred the other day.
