My mom and I have been taking turns hand raising an abandoned kitten. We got him and 2 others at birth, as in, the feral cat mama had them in various places in my parents' yard and never touched them again. We lost 2 of them, but the male is doing well.
He's just over 5 weeks old now, almost a pound and a half, and he refuses to drink from a bowl. He only wants his bottle....every 3-4 hours! He is still eating at night this often, too. How can we teach him to drink from a bowl? We're just starting some canned Wellness today with him and mixing it with his formula in a bowl.
Otherwise, he's doing very well! He is about 95% reliable with using a litter box on his own and very sweet and playful.

Once they figure out what it is and how to feed themselves they'll be well on their way to being weaned. You can also try water too. Once they get that down then you can move on to the pet food.
