update on wellness at our school

for those who offered kudos on my original thread, i wanted to update to say that the response i have gotten has been overwhelmingly supportive.

we are officially going to enforce the policy next year, per our awesome principal. i'm glad the policy already exists, so its not a matter of me forcing MY ideas on others. it already exists and it is quite comprehensive, so i'm really excited.

also, i found out to day that the deputy mayor of our city heard about and asked to join the wellness committee!!!

so for anyone out there who is wanting their school to stage a revolution a la jamie oliver, i say go for it! if i can get this much done, anyone can do it! LOL
