Ok mama's Iv got a problem...

I developed a yeast infection on sunday. On monday I bought a 3 day treatment and finished it up on wed night. Well its got a LOT better but I am still a lil itchy and burny(lol I know not a word) anyways I am sure this is just the last stages of healing. Anyways I have been applying yogurt internally and externally since thurs morning. I just bought some lavender/tea tree oil today and I was going to do a tampon concoction with it. I know you have to dillute it with another oil and I have heard coconut oil is good for treating/preventing yeast so would this be a good oil to use with the EO???

Also How long should I do this and what else can I do for the exterior itching??

One more thing.... Can taking probiotics help with yeast inside the body??

sorry for all the sp mistakes trying to hurry in hopes of having a fast answer lol.

try a squirt bottle with hydrogen peroxide. It kills it for me everytime. I also use it if I find yeast with y cd's children. I use a wet cotton ball to swab their yeasties.

last time i had a yeastie, it was the worst i ever had. my skin was so irritated it was splitting. there. ow. and that was after i'd taken the pills from the dr and all.

someone told me to draw a luke warm bath, add a cup of apple cider vinegar and a half cup of regular table salt. i thought they were nuts, but i was desperate, so i tried it. IT WORKS. it stops the itching and soothes the irritation. i spent hours in the tub lol.

the yogurt is a big help, too.

I have had awsome results from yogurt. I tried it in a douche first, like a tablespoon or two with some warm water, but I think it was too dilute. It worked better for me to put it full strength in a syringe, like the kind you use to give medicine to a baby. I usually do it three times a day for the first two days and then once a day for a few more days.

thanks you guys! I will try the peroxide. I have let it "air" for the last two days and I think that has helped alot. Just a tiny bit of itch right now so I think I might have it beat!

coconut oil or even olive oil mixed with tea tree oil put into capsules and inserted works too. I have heard the tampon soaked version works well too. I use coconut oil mixed with tto for a lot of things, as an antiseptic. mix it till it tingles a bit but doesn't sting. it is going to depend on the strength of the tto. I had one bottle that I mixed 2:1 coco:tto but I have another that is stronger and had to do 3:1.... but the capsules inserted works for bv or yeast. also using it on the outside relieves all itching. probiotics and working on getting the sugars down through diet changes will cure it for good too.
