Found pieces of hair on crib sheets?!

Could this be from him rubbing his head back and forth on his sheet? Could it already be falling out now? He's a little over 11wks and has a pretty good head of hair and it's dark. I don't remember this with my ODS as he had blonde hair and not really much of it.

Anyone else's LO doing this, too?

DD has a big bald spot on the back of her head where she lays down on it. I haven't found any hair, but I'm sure just him laying on the back of his head if the culprit. DD was born with a full head of hair, and now she's hardly got any. She's 16 weeks today.

My babes were born with hair, lost it all, and then it started growing back. Seriously, they looked like the cliche "bald monks" for a while, because they lost it in like the typical male pattern baldness style.

I found it on the crib sheets, too. So maybe yours is shedding that baby fluff and growing in more mature hair at the same time, so you really can't tell?

I think all NBs lose hair like that. You probably are noticing more because the hair is dark.

Yup, I just changed dd2's sheet tonight cause of all the hair that keeps coming out on it! It was the same with dd1 as well.

I read that babes lose their hair by 6 mos, but my LO's hair fell out at 6 weeks! I found hair on his clothes, sheets, everywhere. It's growing back nicely now though.

Busymama, my LO is also losing some hair (same age). It's mostly coming from the back where he rubs it, but I think some of the rest is also falling out. Waaa!

I know! He's got one side that is almost bald and a few spots in the back. The bottom part of his head has the thickest part of his hair. I just pray it grows back brown.

DS lost his newborn hair in the same way. My sister said he looked like Dr. Phil.

My youngest rubbed all her hair off on her sheets as a baby too. She started out with thick back hair, it all rubbed off on sheets, and now she has thin blonde hair. :

my coworker's babe rubbed all the hair off everywhere in a mullet style pattern.. so it could always be worse...
