I'm ordering a soft doll from a great shop on Etsy for my DD's 1st birthday. I can choose wool or polyfil stuffing. Health considerations aside, is the warming, cuddly benefit of the wool worth sacrificing the machine-wash and dry benefit of polyfil? Thanks!

ETA: Polyfil is fine for some uses, if you are vegan or have wool allergies. I think some polyfil is recycled, too. Kudos to you for supporting hand made!

Thank you for this! I'm going to upgrade DD's easter bunny to wool filling. :)
