DS's sitter called me this morning to ask if I'd noticed that DS's bum was very red. (I hadn't as he pottied first thing in the morning and I diapered him in a bit of a rush.) Now, we'd both normally chalk it up to a diaper rash, except yesterday was the first day DS pottied all day long (
), so he was never in a wet or poopy diaper at all. Its an even red with no bumps or anything, so we both thought it could be a reaction to something he ate, but neither of us could think of anything he ate that was new.
I'm going to make sure DS gets as much bare bum time tomorrow to try to heal it, but does anyone have any idea what else might have caused it? I'm really stumped!
