I did not vax my son against Hep B... he is now 7 months old. My grandfather is now in town for the summer and I know he was infected when I was very little with Heptatitis... I thought it was A, he says it was B. He also claims he got it from a doorknob... and I know that is not possible with Hep B. But... regardless, I'm going to be visiting with him tomorrow and I'm concerned about letting him be near my son, although from what I've read even if he was infected with the virus my son wouldn't catch it from casual contact with him. Thoughts? Anyone with any experience with this. I'm thinking at this point he needs to check his records and find out which version he had and then if it was B I will probably vax my son to be on the safe side...
