I've always wanted 4 kids and to be done by 30. I don't think that will
be happening. I turn 26 the following June.

I'll be 25... This is my third baby. I started young... I don't think I'd do it differently, though I totally respect the joys and challenges of having a baby in any age bracket. This is probably the last baby for us, so I'm really going to enjoy the whole process... And be glad that I'll be done with the teeny-tinys by the time I am thirty.

My due date by ovulation is Dec 30, and by LMP (what the midwife is using) is Jan 4. My 27th birthday is Jan 2nd. I said 27 in the poll, regardless, I'll be practically 27!

Ill be just over 26... turn 26 in September. I was 19 when my first was born and get the "young" mom comments all the time, im kind of looking forward to being a more average age for this pregnancy

Am I really the oldest one here? I was afraid of that! Planned to have my kids in my early thirties, but fate had other things in store. So here I am at 43, hoping for my first. I'm hoping what I lack in youth I can make up for in financial and emotional stability. I'm quite envious of those having children in their 20s... by the time they are my age, their children will be mostly grown and they can start another whole kind of life, which I think is awesome. But I know in my heart of hearts that I wasn't ready for this responsibility until now, and I'm so grateful that it looks like I may get the chance at last.

My Mom had her first child when she was eighteen and by the time she was 24 she had been divorced twice and had two more kids. She was 43 when I was born. She's the best mother in the world, not just according to me, but to my two brothers as well. I'm going to be 30 when my baby is born and that's the oldest any woman in my family has waited for as far back as we know.

Your baby is coming into this world with a mother who has her !@#$ together. Some people never mature, some mature earlier than they should ever have to (my case).

You're ready now. So many congratulations to you. So many people never take the time to think about the physical and financial demands that babies require, let along the emotional support. You're already heads above so many others. Be proud. Trust me - your baby will thank you for this and you'll be the best mother you can possibly be. A big up to you for putting thought into what will be best for a child and not just for yourself. If there were more people like you this world would be a much better place, I'm sure.

i wanted to kick some of our polls back to the top as we near the end of this amazing time together. we have many more folks in the DDC than we did back in the first months and im curious to see some of our stats.

I turned 30 last week, so baby will definitely be here when I'm 30 :) Our goal when we got married was 3 before I was 30, so we missed that by about a month or less. Oh well! Pretty close anyways. If it hadn't taken so long to conceive DD1 and we hadn't had 3 miscarriages we definitely would have made it.

Either 34 or 35...depending on which side of my birthday he/she comes on!  We started trying when I was 30 and we had been married for 2 years.
