consensual living resources?

Mods feel free to move if there is a better place for my question.

I am looking for a book resource that explains consensual living, not just for parents and children, but for people in general and especially families.

I want this for myself 'coz I'm trying to live more consensually with my loved ones and need some guidance I can continue to refer to, and also for parents I know with grown children whose relationships are suffering because the parents are still being disappointed by their failed expectations for their kids.

Anyways, I can't seem to find a book like this. Any ideas? I know about Unconditional Parenting, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a practical book that's real approachable for people who may not naturally be led to CL.

Thanks in advance!

Raising Our Children, Raising Ourselves - Naomi Aldort

The book is about interaction with children, but it can also be applied as interaction with others. I find myself taking some of the principles in this book and using it in other areas of my life not related to parenting.

I know this isn't exactly what you are asking for, but I have recently been looking into nonviolent communication and it appears to share a lot of similarities. NVC already has a successful track record in psychology and negotiating peace treaties, it might be easier for more people to receive. I think if you can get someone to accept NVC, CL will follow.
