Do you take your little one to doc for every fever? - Page 2

I wait and see. I only took DD in once for a fever that immediately followed her swallowing a foreign object, and it was 103.5.

If she's got a cold with a fever, then no, I wouldn't take her in. She's (knock wood) never had an ear infection or other symptom accompanying a fever, so usually I try to keep her cool, I might give motrin, or else I just nurse her a lot and keep her comfy.

Usually no, but I have called into the office to ask questions when I'm on the fence. Our doctors are pretty good about it, and have only told us to come in about half the time.

By the way my son ONLY seems to gets sick enough to see a doctor on Friday afternoons before holiday weekends or before major snow storms! It's how it goes, right?
