I have some old jeans that I want to get rid of but I am wondering if could make some tote bags out of them. Any tips and Ideas I could use for these old jeans.

or if you meant to post in this forum,
i used jean scraps to line my knit bag. or maybe you could cut them into strips and crochet a rug. or just crochet the base from plastic grocery bags and then use smaller strips of jeans and tie them or hook them onto the base.
for sewing, i like patchworking different denims and corduroys together to make warm, masculine throw quilts for men on my gift lists. i made a bed size top for my son using his old jeans and flannel shirts...i also put in a pair of his (step)dad's jeans; it was dp's idea so we could say ds didn't get his "genes," but he got his "jeans." lol
