PP sex...deep pain?

I am just curious, has anyone else experienced deep pain, almost like your cervix is being tapped, during sex after childbirth? I'm 6 weeks pp and we started having sex again the other night. If DH goes all the way in it feels like he's hitting my cervix, and I never had this before giving birth. Does it go away?? The rest of the vaginal area feels fine.

Yes, it goes away! At 6 weeks PP, everything is still going back to where it used to be. I think it was like this for us for a few months.

You cervix probably IS being tapped, as it sits much lower postpartum, but usually returns to near normal eventually. Try different positions and if it still is uncomfortable, be creative---there are lots of non-penetrative thing you can do too!
