I need to know THIS one, an 11 stitch repeat, I need someone to scrutinize this and tell me what I was doing before I shoved this in a corner a year ago, so I can continue and finish the blanket!

can you un-knit a few rows to figure out what you were doing?

If you know more or less how chevron patterning works, it should be possible to go back and forth on one section and check that it looks the same and then frog it and go back to doing the repeat on the whole blanket.

unfortunately, I'm not an experienced enough knitter for frogging to tell me what I did.

Looking in The Ultimate Sourcebook of Knitting and Crochet Stitches, I would say it is called Zigzag Chevron Stripes 1 (p. 63) except that you continue the ridgy part for longer than two rows. Also, the pattern repeat is over 14 stitches.

I can type out the pattern if you like.

No, I needed the one I'd been using, over 11 stitches, as the blanket is half finished, and I don't want to frog the whole thing.

I got some help, though. It's k2tog, k2, kfb, k1, kfb, k2, ssk
