How stressed would you be if these were your tests?...UPDATE in first post

Update It ends up my concern was warranted. I guess in my heart I just knew something wasn't right with those tests not getting darker sooner. On 15 dpo I got the darkest test I would get, 16 dpo they stayed the same, 17 dpo they started to make me really worry and by yesterday on 18 dpo I suddenly went to almost a BFN on an EPT. I was able to get a bit better of a line on a FRER, but only half as dark as the one you see here on the 14th, so I knew. Tonight 19 dpo the FRER is so faint, it's one of those ones, you'd be holding to the light if you were 10 dpo, hoping and praying that it would be the start of something great. I'm so sad. So sad. I know it was very early, but I'm sure you all understand what it feels like to have those few days of dreaming and hoping for a new baby to love, come to a sad ending .

I just had a m/c in March at 9 weeks(baby had stopped developing around 6).

Last Thursday I got a nearly invisilbe but there line on a FRER at 10 dpo and a clearly there line on a CBE(within a minute) and they have been increasing somewhat since.

Today I'm 14 dpo and this is what I got though when I used the same urine to test with a FRER and IC.

I know FRER are very sensitive and yet the IC are also suppossed to be a 20-25 or whatever, so I'm feeling like this might not be a very good sign.

Here you can see the 12 to 14 dpo difference on the FRER.

I wouldn't be stressed about those tests at all! They look great to me! They can't really tell you with much accuracy "how pregnant" you are or if your hcg levels are rising or falling. Do you have a health care provider you can ask to run some blood work on you if you're worried about your levels?

I'm sorry you're worried about it, it must be scary. but I'm hoping and guessing that you've got a sticky one in there!

I would trust the frer over the IC ...

and your 14 DPO looks darker then your 12 DPO, so I would say everything is fine!

also when I was preg my IC was a hardly visable but my frer was obv +!

Congratulation!!!!

Every test - even if the same brand -has different sensitivities. Also time of day, the amount you drink etc can affect a line's color. I understand your concern and am sorry for your loss, but I wouldn't be worried over this. I think the 12 to 14dpo FRER difference is great! Maybe stick to digitals for a while and try not to stress over lines. As of right now you are preggo! Congrats!

Thanks, ladies, I was thinking of doing a couple of betas but sometimes they only add even more stress so I think I am going to try and just relax and will stop testing at least for a few days....lol

Well, FRER ALWAYS shows better lines than any other test for me. I had positives on a FRER for days before I even got a faint positive on the ICs. I've never really been impressed with them.

Congrats!

I wish I had my pictures - I had a nice line on a $tree at 11dpo (beta was 46 at 10dpo) and then at 12dpo, the line was barely there on a $tree, FMU and all. Scared the CRAP out of me, like it wasn't even half as dark as the 11dpo one. The next day, the line was just as dark as the 11dpo, if not darker. I think you are fine! I dunno what happened to mine, I'm guessing faulty test or different amount of dye in it.

I've had three chemical pregnancies with a positive and then fading and vanishing tests. Your test would not worry me at all, it is darker, and very, very easy to see. FRER IMO (even with my three kids) doesn't get much darker than your last test! Congrats!

Congrats! Your tests look beautiful!

Even if some test are darker earlier than others, all tests (even the same brand) can vary. It took me like 20dpo to get a test that was dark enough for my satisfaction last time, lol. Those are very positive and try to relax. It certainly won't help you to worry yourself about miscarriage. I understand that worry though... I lost my first baby and with my second pregnancy, I was a total wreck until the day she was born. But it's pretty rare that a healthy woman has two miscarriages in a row. So you're likely to not have any problems.

Happy & healthy 9 months to you!

Your 14dpo test is darker then tests I still take (I get bored) And I am pregnant with twins.

For some reason I never test super dark. I wouldn't worry about it, don't stress yourself out with a beta unless you feel something is not right.

Betas can totally screw with you way more then 2 lines. A friend of mine had some super low betas and dr told her she was losing it. She is actually pregnant and due right around the same time as I am.. I should dig up those numbers, they were so low!

here they are (she had IVF) but as you can see some super low beta numbers.

1 beta(8dp5dt) 3.88
2nd beta (9dp5dt) 9.88
3rd beta (11dp5dt) 24.8

She is due July 18th with a girl.

Thank you all so much.

The really strange thing is, I had a few of the cassette tests from the same place Early Pregnancy Test.com, so I took one of those tonight after dinner, not taking into account how much water I had drank or when I had last gone pee and it was not super dark, but it was very clearly nice and pink and easy to see from way across the room, yet those dip tests from the same place just are not coming up with what anyone would call a decent line yet. I even got a super dark positive on the OPK from the same place tonight and I've heard OPKS don't work until after a pregnancy test has a good level(I hope anyways..lol). I loved there OPKs they worked beautifully for me each month, so no complaints there.

Anyways, I have no more dip tests left, so I guess I'll try to put them out of my mind and just enjoy the good news that I am indeed pregnant.

Sadly it seems my instinct was right. My tests have basically turned back to squinter, barely can see lines.

I'm so sad over this happening, especially after our m/c in March.
