really silly question (about 3 year old and bed sharing)

how the heck do i keep sand out of my bed????

the sandbox is the light of my children's lives. they play in it 24/7 when it's warm. but despite stripping and bathing my 3 year old before bed, she is still somehow getting sand in the bed and it's making me nuts!

any suggestions? (see i told you it was silly)

Is it stuck in her hair and/or ears and you're missing it in the bath?? lol

Sometimes when kids dump sand over their head it gets in their ears. It can also really stick to the scalp so if you didn't do a vigourous scalp massage in the bath there maybe is still some sand in there?

baby powder! Rub baby powder all over the kid, it totally helps get sand off.

i have been washing her hair, but i wonder if i should brush it first.

will try the baby powder thing.
