Using Inserts instead of prefolds in diaper covers

I have all of these extra inserts for FuzziBunz diapers and bumGenius diapers, and I was wondering if I could use them inplace of prefolds in Thirsties or Bummis covers. Thanks!!

No, you can't unless you cover them. The microfiber can't be against the babies skin as it pulls too much moisture away and can cause reactions. You could sew a cover to slip it in or one that stays on it all the time. Then you wouldn't have to worry about it.

If you can sew, you could make a pouch out of microfleece or suedecloth, or just sew it right on top of the insert. You'll cover the mf, and have a stay dry diaper

Ditto to the covering of the microfiber.
