Botched Circumcision case settled for 1.26M

Below is a link to a settlement where a baby boy was horribly damaged during circumcision. The mother initially did not want her son circumcised, but the doctor talked her into it anway, saying it was "medically necessary." He was 2 days old.

The head of his penis was cut off and re-attached surgically without permission. The parents sued, saying they were not told of the risks of the procedure, and the doctor tried to hide the seriousness of the damage. They were awarded a 1.26M settlement, but I'm sure their son would prefer his penis was simply returned to its former, perfect condition.

This law firm is actively seeking clients who have had circumcisions botched. They have offices in Boston MA, Providence RI and Las Vegas, NV.

I think we all as mothers have that instinct to protect our children. I think the consequences of that mother not listening to her instincts will haunt her and her child, and hopefully the doctor. I hope our society can learn to leave well enough alone and let children be. My heart goes out to the mother and especially the child.

Maybe with Mass Lawyers help parents of botched circ jobs maybe that will help keep more track of the stats of Death & loss or partial loss of glans.

If they have a higher note of stats then maybe it will show those doctors how much more Harming they doing to their boys than helping .
