If I See a Line When...

I take my test apart and hold the strip up to the light, does it count?

I'm 15 DPO, got a BFN yesterday but still have elevated temps and super sore breasts. I promised myself I wouldn't test until Thursday but we all know how that goes, right?

So, I tested. And got the faintest of faint lines on a pink dye Answer brand test. It showed up within a minute or two but I thought I was seeing things, so I took the test apart. It is most noticeable when I hold the test strip up to the light.

Whaddya think?

If the line came up that quickly and is indeed pink, then I would say it's positive. I like to hold mine right up next to a compact florescent bulb to see the color of the line. I've never had a pink line on a negative Answer test and really trust them. Congrats are most likely in order!

I think you should test again tomorrow lol

I will be

With this surrogacy I went through about 123 tests.. I started testing like 3 days after my transfer lol.

I know all about the "Hold it to the light, stand on one leg and squint and maybe there is a line".

I think it sounds promising though! Good Luck!

Sounds promising to me, but only time will tell. If my test was like that I would be jumping up and down(of course behind the bathroom door atleast until I test again).

if theres a line and it's pink and it came up within the time frame then i'd say congratulations are in order

For me, the Answer tests didn't show positive for a long time when everything else had a nice line, so I think the Answer tests maybe aren't as sensitive? At any rate, I agree with the others, if it was pink and came up within the time limit - take another test, but I'm guessing BFP!
