I read The Simple Dollar and Get Rich Slowly almost every day. I like their chatty style and there is very good and inspiring information. That said, I have reading frugal stuff for so long, I think I know just about everything now!. And, for the record, it definitely has paid off as I even made it through a divorce with no debt and very little financial stress Reading the blogs is so helpful to keep focus over the long haul. You don't feel so alone, you know?

One of my biggest "no's" when we are on a budget (um, all the time), is fancy dinners out. It's just not in the budget frequently at all. So, I have a couple of local, farm-to-table, local, in season, type places bookmarked. I follow their prix fixe meals every week (they change weekly), and I frequently copy those meals to give me a little taste of fine dining at home. It's fun, it's inspiring, and it makes me happy.
