Guess what my Deaf baby can say!!!!

Ok, she's not a baby, she's 6, but still....


After only hearing through her cochlear implant for 18 months, she said "What's going on" to me yesterday! Also newly appearing, "scooch", "what kind is it", and "another one".

How amazing is that!?!?!

She also says "SCOOBY DOOBY DOO" and knows the names of Spounge Bob (Square)Pants and all his friends!

Hearing is amazing!!!

That's awesome! My son is nearing his 2nd hearing birthday this Sept and the CIs have been amazing!

She just read me an entire Step 1 reader and said "The end!" at the end. I'm so proud!!

my kids don't have implants, but i do remember when my oldest just busted out with a whole, clear sentence in the car!! it made me cry. the both do cued speech a few times a week so they have that as a communication tool later on. we use ASL full time, but yeah, its neat. yay for your babe!
