Does anyone have a tripp trapp chair? (I think thats what their called... the chair that can be used as a high chair all the way down to a regular chair...) If so, do you like it? Is it comfy for DC/anyone to sit in?? My Ds1 is 3 now and we're kinda running out of chairs Just wondering what your thoughts are!!

We love ours. Both children look more comfortable at the table than they do on normal dinning chairs and they seem to eat better. They are 3 1/2 and 5 1/2, both of them decided that the booster seats at my mums were babyish quite a while ago.

It's nice that we can use it as an adult chair if we need to (and we have). The cheaper knock off will not take an adults weight.

We have one, the neighbour has one, basically all children in Norway sit in one. They are practical, you can get them in many nice colours, and they can grow with the child. They don't have a tray that separates the child from the family table. We have never used one as an adult chair, though. I do not find them THAT easy to make higher or lower.

Is tripp trapp a brand name?

We have a Svan (I think that is the name) and are very happy with it. We used the tray for just a short time before removing it and having DS sit right at the table. I really liked this feature, all of us sitting together.

I have adjusted it several times. DS is 4, nearly 5 and it is still working well.

Both of my kiddos have them. DS is 6-1/2 and on the tall side and still prefers it to a regular chair. Plus, I will totally be able to pass them on (my brother and SIL are about to have their first!), keep them for grandkids or sell them. Totally worth it.

And yes, we've had plenty of adults sit in ours as well.

We have two, though only one is put together at the moment. The kids fight over who gets the one that is currently in use. It works well for both of mine.

We have 4. My older two (ages 7 & 9) no longer use them but prefer regular chairs. Look for used as they are very sturdy and do last.

We have one for each kid (ages 1 and 4) and I LOVE them! Kids are comfy, the chairs are easy to clean and they look so much nicer than our old plastic highchair. Very well made.

We have one and love it. It is at our dining room table in place of a regular chair. They are sturdy. Even adults can sit on them!

We love ours. Only have one but are thinking of getting another at some point. Both boys want to sit in it, but I reserve it for the babe.
