Lactivism Paper Help

Sparked by the ignorance of Hillsborough County, FL. I'm writing a seminar-style paper for my law school requirements and I'm wanting to write about the (lack of) legal protection for breastfeeding moms and children.

I'm trying to collect as many newspaper articles or other stories about mom's being told not to nurse their children so that I can include this information in my paper.

Any suggestions would be wonderfully appreciated.

just in the USA? there are a few in Canada but our laws are different - breastfeeding seems to have more protection. for example in Ontario it is a human right...

Just scroll through this forum. You'll see many instances of women who were NIPing and asked to cover up, and the resulting media coverage of the incidents. You can cite those news stories in your paper.

I think my paper will focus mainly on USA but I would love info about Canada, maybe to compare/contrast offer some possible solutions to the problems.

I was the one asked not to breastfeed at the school and I just wanted to point out that although they are ignorant, they seem to realize they did something wrong and are not trying to cover themselves. I was told I couldn't breastfeed in the lobby but now they are saying I was just "offered" a private place for my own comfort. The lawyer even made a statement that the principal offered me her own office for my comfort which was not true. I went there Monday and the principal showed me the waiting area for "parents with preschooler."
