Why can't I watch Lost Season Six episodes 1-8 anymore?

So, dh and I are a bit behind the times. We started watching Lost about 6 months ago through Netflix. We finished season 5, and last week started season 6. We saw episodes 1-5 on Hulu, but now you can't get episodes 6-9 anywhere. We've googled, we've searched, and it seems pretty consistent.

Why is this? Am I missing something? I can see the last 9 episodes or so on demand, online, or anywhere else, but not 1-8. Help?

I don't watch "Lost" but I do watch other shows on here when I fall behind on seasons or episodes. It has EVERYTHING! It's the only site I use.

Lots of times on websites (like Hulu and ABC.com) will stop airing some episodes after so many have aired. I know Hulu (where I've been watching LOST for the last 5 seasons) will usually only keep the last 5 episodes aired up.

Thanks! We were able to get episode 6 from tv.jinx - very awesome, thank you! We couldn't get episode 7 (technical error?) so we bought it from itunes, but the quality was awful, even in HD. It had this shaking motion to it the whole time.

We'll try episode 8 from tv.jinx tomorrow, and it seems like 9 and up is available on hulu and abc.

Phew. I've never had to work so hard in my life to watch a tv show.

Haha...I know how it is when your on a roll and catching up on episodes and then all of a sudden there's that one that's just impossible to find. You can't move on 'till you watch it either..lol. Glad you found what you were looking for though!
