We Hear the Dead by Dianne Salerni

I just picked this up at the bookstore last week. I saw it on the shelf in the YA section as I was walking by and it called to me. I just had to read it.

Anyway, I just started it tonight and I love, love, love it already.

Has anyone else read it?

Haven't read the book, but grew up in the town next to the Fox sisters' home. It was in ruins when I was a child, and it was torn down about 10 years ago.

We also studied them in our school's "Yorker Club" (a club for history of NY State - my best friend's mom was the advisor and I think that's how I got into it. My strongest memory is going through the old paperwork of the school itself in the basement closet of the school - decades old excuses and random things like that. All stuff that would be considered confidential today, probably!)
